B1. Creating Documents and Models

Create a document in NVIVO. Think about your topic. Write down your thoughts about that topic and present a why question. Provide a few explanations. Do a Web search to find relevant information on your topic. Save the pages (or if it is a PDF file, save the entire file). Then link it to your text (using DataBite). If you have other files (say, papers written previously on this or similar topics) link those too. This document should not be longer than 2 pages.

Create a model. Draw a flow chart representing your explanation.

Import all six interviews into NVIVO. To do that, you will have to save them in a Rich Text Format (*.rtf).

Save  your work in your class directory.
