UCSD Comparative Historical Sociology Workshop
The UCSD comparative historical sociology workshop meets approximately once a month to dine together and discuss work in progress. We construe comparative historical sociology broadly to include work that is comparative or historical or both.
Participants are asked to read the work in advance of our discussion. Information about the readings (and direct links when possible) are posted here.
Schedule for 2009-2010
We have a tradition of meeting from 6 PM to 8 PM over an informal pot-luck dinner at someone's home. This year we will continue that tradition, but our dinner meetings will be interspersed with daytime colloquia in SSB 101.
We have several more workshops planned for winter and spring this year that will be listed here as the schedule is confirmed.
